Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Beyond Portugal website and booking our tour services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Beyond Portugal provides guided tour services, day trips, and customized travel experiences in Portugal and surrounding destinations. All tours are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify or cancel any tour at our discretion.

3. Bookings & Reservations

  • All bookings must be made in advance via our website, email, or phone.

  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as specified.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.

  • We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

  • Bookings made on behalf of a group are the responsibility of the lead traveler.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

  • Payment must be completed in full before the tour departure date.

  • We accept payment via major credit/debit cards and other methods as specified at checkout.

  • Any additional costs incurred during the tour (entrance fees, meals, gratuities) unless specified as included are the traveler's responsibility.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellations and refunds. In summary:

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before departure: full refund minus processing fees.

  • Cancellations made 3–6 days before departure: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before departure: no refund.

  • Beyond Portugal reserves the right to cancel tours due to unsafe conditions, insufficient group size, or force majeure events.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change a booking (date, tour type, group size) must be made in writing at least 5 days before the scheduled tour. Changes are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee of €20.

7. Tour Conduct

  • All participants must comply with the instructions of the tour guide at all times.

  • Disruptive, disrespectful, or dangerous behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

  • Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the tour.

  • Alcohol consumption that impairs your ability to participate safely is not permitted.

8. Health & Fitness

Some tours involve moderate physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain. It is your responsibility to assess your own fitness and health before booking. Please inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it would pose a risk to your safety or others.

9. Liability

  • Beyond Portugal is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in tours, except where caused by our negligence.

  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or additional costs resulting from circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, political events, etc.).

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to booking.

10. Photography & Media

By participating in our tours, you grant Beyond Portugal permission to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you expressly opt out in writing before the tour.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and tour itineraries, is the property of Beyond Portugal and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
